Purchasing Realtor Amsterdam (Aankoopmakelaar Amsterdam) charges home buyers a fair price. As a buyer’s realtor, we charge a performance fee that reflects the amount of money we save you on the purchase of your home. The fee we charge is 10% of the amount we save you (the actual price you pay versus the seller’s original asking price). There is also a minimum fee, which is €3.500,-. These costs quoted exclude 21% VAT.
In the current market, houses are sold for a higher amount than what it’s listed for. If this occurs when you purchase your house, the minimum fee will be charged.
Clear and transparent
Thanks to this way of working, you and your buyer’s realtor have the same interest: to achieve the lowest possible purchase price! As a buyer, you’re absolutely sure you won’t pay a penny too much. And fees become due for payment only after the purchase has been completed. In other words: when you actually own your new home in Amsterdam.
No cure no pay
If for some reason we can’t reach an agreement with the seller, or if you decide to halt the negotiations, you don’t have to pay anything. In this situation, all work done up to that point becomes free of charge. As you can imagine, this is a great motivator for us to achieve your goal!
Cancellation of the agreement
Once you have signed a purchase agreement with the seller, Dutch law provides a three-day ‘cooling off’ period during which you can change your mind and cancel the sale. Should you decide to do this, we will charge you a standard cancellation fee of €275, excluding VAT, for services rendered. Payment must be made within 14days. However, should you engage us again within three months, we will reimburse this charge in the form of a discount of €275 on future costs.
